USE REAL WORLD MATERIALS TO CREATE A DESIGN FOR A TEE.

Artists, let’s collectively stand up from our desks, take a big breath, and give our eyes a break from those computer screens! Your challenge is to take materials from out in the real world and use them to create a design for a tee! Use any material that inspires you. Here are some suggestions from the Threadstaff to get you started:

  • ketchup
  • rocks
  • photography
  • coins
  • hair
  • paint
  • cassettes
  • bread
  • cookies
  • pickles
  • bottles
  • leaves
  • construction paper
  • flowers
  • stamps
  • glass
  • needles
  • leftovers
  • nail polish
  • Band aids
  • old cell phones
  • candy
  • newspaper

Once you’ve created your design, digitize it by scanning or photographing, make any adjustments and additions you’d like, and submit it on a template!
