The perfect design for all of you vinyl collectors, “Moto Perpetuo" by Vó Maria is new this week! Here’s a little background on the design:
“I had this idea on my sketchbook for a while. By messing with some old and damaged vinyls, I imagined an awesome, impossible musical perpetuum mobile that never stopped playing. I’m glad with the results and new skills I developed; I used a lot of textures and vintage effects to bring it from my head to the paper in a cool, realistic way.”
Make sure you check out this design on a baseball tee!

Invading Threadless this week, check out “OCTORG ATTACKS NEW YORK" by Christopher Toumazatos! Here’s what Christopher had to say about his design:
"The concept and the character are an export of a ton sci-fi movies. A giant visitor from outer space named "Octorg" (probably an octopus and an alien’s affair). The design is based at a ’80s sci-fi movies poster aesthetics, adjusted to our contemporary times. 3D software and photoshop are the tools that were used."
Interested in how 3D software was used in this design? Check out the rad process photos:
“Shark Attack" by Stacy Eyles
Stacy Eyles, otherwise known as Mechanicalrobotpower, works as an illustrator/motion graphic designer in both the animation and design fields. He likes knives, dogs, synth, science fiction and single malt scotch, and currently lives in New Zealand (where he was born and raised!). Someday, when he has the means, he’d love to set up camp in the most remote part of Scotland and illustrate for a living.

Created using newspaper obituaries, “No News Is Good News" by Tom Burns has been delivered to the Threadless doorstep this week! Check out what Tom had to say about this melancholy design:
"I like skull shirts! But hey, who doesn’t, right? I do like to try and come up with something unique with them though, since they can become overdone pretty easily. I figured that since the skull is synonymous with death, an obituary collage was good idea to play around with."
