Happy Draw a Picture of a Bird Day! The holiday that sounds fake-pretend but is very real, and we’re just chuffed about it.
As fun and silly as this holiday sounds, it actually has really touching origins involving a WWII soldier, his niece, and drawings of birds she brought him in the hospital.
There aren’t enough excuses in the world to just sit down and draw a bird. So in honor of Draw a Picture of a Bird day, we decided to do just that!
