I choose the Halloween world…although here in Mexico, that world would be ‘El Mundo Del Dia De Muertos.” And I like almost everything about this season. The weather, the skull costumes, the candies, the food, and the decorations.
– Pepe Rodríguez (ppmid), Mérida, Yucatán

My answer is definitely the Christmas world because of the Christmas lights, gifts and all. But if I would see my mother again in the Halloween world – even if she’s in undead form – I would choose the Halloween world.
– Vincent Trinidad (vptrinidad021), Manila, Philippines

Honestly, I don’t think I’d want to live in any holiday world – it gets old pretty fast. Is there a ‘4th of July’ world? I might be able to tolerate beer and fireworks every day…but I doubt it.
– Jehsee, Escanaba, MI

If I had to choose, I think I would rather live in Halloween Town. There are too many pros to list – wacky characters, crazy buildings, hats made of rats AND bats…the list goes on and on. Even though the Christmas Town did look fun, it seemed kind of like a colorful front for a singing elf labor camp.
-Eric Mrock (teametc), Pittsburgh, PA

I would like to live in the Christmas world because despite how much I love Halloween, I’m too cowardly to live in that town haha…
– Paula García (paulagarcia), Almería, Spain

Christmas is fun – presents, food, decorations…but 365 days of that a year might take the joy out of it, so living there might not be my first choice. It’s also cold, so no. Halloween world, on the other hand, would offer pumpkins, dressing up in costumes, scares, and all that fun…but it might get too dark to live there full time. Of all the holiday worlds, I’d pick Easter. Happy bunnies, chocolate eggs, and warm sunny weather are more to my liking!
– Jonna Piltti (BlancaJP) Tampere, Finland

I think I would pick the Christmas world. Not only because it’s the time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, but also because of the whole atmosphere surrounding that period. The giving of presents, snow that covers everything, lights popping up everwhere in town, the coziness of a fireplace…but a very close second would be ‘April Fools’ world. Pranking people all year ’round sounds like fun!
– Sem Brys (Mantichore), Belgium

I would live in the Halloween world, as it’s only a day after my birthday and there would never be a dull moment scaring, playing tricks, and getting treats.
– Dale Hutchinson (daletheskater), Melbourne, Australia

Where ‘to be or not to be?
– such a Shakespearean kind of dilemma! Jack Skellington on my painting is asking himself that same question. I choose…Christmas world for its warm and cinnamon tastes, glowing tiny colorful lights, and the snow. Hm…but how would you have the loyal friend ghost dog, Zero, in the Christmas world? He’s so cute! Dilemma…I’ll review The Nightmare Before Christmas again, and try to give the right answer then.
– 38 Sunsets, Paris & Warsaw
Definitely Halloween. I like it because of all the scary pranks everywhere, bags full of candies, colorful, decorations, and all the people with their creative and frightening costumes and makeup…but mostly for candies.
– Vincent Caduc (weird&co), Vannes, France

Both of the film’s worlds are fantastic, but I think I would most prefer to live in the Christmas one. I love lights, snow, but mostly I love the atmosphere you feel during this holiday time. I live in a city in the middle of the mountains and Christmas here is an important and respected tradition, powered by all the light, decorations and snow.
– Martino Bombonato (bombo332), Bolzano, Italy

Even though in my country Halloween is celebrated modestly, it is still one of the celebrations that I am fond of. I like it because the unique and scary theme. The costumes and the ‘trick or treat’ tradition is closely related with Nightmare Before Christmas.
– Azizaninn, Johor, Malaysia

The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite films from my childhood (in fact, until present day). See, the Halloween world was incredible at that time. I always loved their style, it’s true artwork! Today there is still something inspiring to me, so I think I would live there!
– Denilson, Florianópolis Brazil

I would rather live in the Christmas world. Because Christmas always brings the family and loved ones together and everyone is happy, sharing the love and spirit of Christmas. Seeing people giving gifts and exchanging cards, listening to the sound of Christmas carols – it all melts your heart!
– SPYKEEE, Cebu City Philippines

I choose Halloween world. Because Halloween is great. There are a lot of zombies, teen-wolves, and Draculas…Also there are a lot of candies…
– Ibrahim Dilek (idilek), Turkey

I’d be a nomad, exploring different worlds and learning about holidays I’ve never even heard of.
– defyeyes, Atlanta

It’s hard to choose, but I would like to live in the world of Christmas! Although it would be fun to visit other worlds from time to time. All of them have their charm.
