Podcast: Empowering Youth with “The Simple Good” Founder, Priya Shah!

The Simple Good

On this episode of The Threadless Podcast we are joined by the Founder & Executive Director of The Simple Good, Priya Shah! Priya grew up as an artist and over the years has done a great deal of volunteer work internationally. It was during her time abroad that she learned about the universality of humanity and what connects all of us. Her unique journey led her to find that creativity and the simple things in life can truly create hope.

The Simple Good is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect the meaning of ‘good’ from around the world to empower at-risk youth to bring positivity into communities through art and discussion. Through public art projects and youth art programming, they transcend the message that no matter where you go in the world, good means the same to all of us – and that is what connects us as human beings.

What started as a travel blog and quickly grew into a non-profit, The Simple Good has expanded from Chicago to now two countries in Africa. Their program is nothing short of inspiring. We could all use a bit of “good” in our lives, and talking with Priya really helped us better understand the importance of pausing to appreciate the little things.
