While art is officially defined as “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination”, in truth, it has a different meaning to everyone. A subjective experience, art takes on many forms, whether it’s a painting, poem, or sculpture made of found sticks; if it’s significant to its creator, it can likely be called art. Considering we are lucky enough to surrounded by incredible art created by our community every day here at Threadless, we thought we’d ask the artists behind this week’s new tees their personal definition of art. I define it as a form of self expression, a way to get all those little ideas out of our heads on to something tangible – whether it’s a canvas, wall, or a t-shirt.
