Your Choice: Mountains, Beaches, Forests, Deserts?

Nature is a pretty incredible place. Step outside and you could be faced with anything from tiny blooms to cascading waterfalls to breathtaking mountains. Alive in a rainbow of colors from greens to blues to reds to purples, the great outdoors will never cease to mesmerize or inspire, especially in its many forms. Curious how others relate to the world around them, we asked the artists behind next week’s new tees to name their favorite part of the outdoors, whether it be the ocean, deserts, forests, or what have you. Read on to discover their answers, and shop their new designs here!

“Barad-Purr”

While hiking through a redwood forest last summer, we stumbled on a section of the forest floor covered in what looked like clover. For the next 30 minutes, we searched for a four-leaf clover instead of looking at some of the most amazing trees on earth. And as it turns out it wasn’t even clover, it was redwood sorrel, so we were staring at the ground for nothing. The forest is still my favorite part, though. – Jason McDade

“So Close, Yet So Far”

The ocean. I grew up in the city next to the ocean, so in general, I have a lot of fond memories being near and in the sea. – Budi Satria Kwan, Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia

“They Made Us”

I love the forest because the air smells so good. I love the sound of wind in the mountains. I am crazy in love with aridness and inhospitality of deserts. Every type of the great outdoors has it own magic dimension. And hey, the abyss of the underwater world too, with whales and all creatures that look like they’re from another planet. It’s all so beautiful. – 38 Sunsets, Warsaw, Poland

“Dat Ass Doe!”

Being an artist that works all day at a computer, I’d have to say the best part about the great outdoors is being outdoors. I don’t care where I am; if I have the chance to be outside enjoying the day or night, I’m a happy camper. – Katie Campbell, Savannah, GA
