Time for Dinosaur Haikus!

Dinos may be gone,
But as we’ve learned from Goldblum,
Life, uh, finds a way.

Dino haiku time! It’s been a second since our last haiku challenge, and what better time to bring it back than when we’ve got DINOS on the brain?? After you read this, check out all of our dinosaur designs, pick your fave, and write a haiku based on the design in the comments below! The winner will get a $25 gift code to Threadless. Hurry! This challenge goes extinct (hehe) on 08/24 at 4 PM CDT.

Don’t forget to 1: also post the design with your comment and 2: to just have fun with it. (And in case you need it: a haiku is a three-line poem. The first line is five syllables, the second is seven, and the third line is five syllables again.)

Now go forth and HAIKU!

T-Rex Boxing” by Mike Marshall.

In the jungle, the
Prehistoric jungle, the

Who Invited the Herbivore?” by Gemma Correll.

At dinner parties,
How lucky is the dino
who’s off the menu.

Clever Games” by Pepe Rodriguez.

Velociraptor?
More like velociraptHER.
The Cleverest Girl.

Sup Brontosaurus?” by Joel Robinson.

“‘Brontosaurus?’ I
Haven’t heard that name in yeears.”
Back to say, ‘SUP, BRO.’

Feeling inspired? Create a haiku to your favorite Threadless dino design and post it in the comments for a chance to win a Threadless gift code!
